discovered he had gone to Kahlo to live. His journals are the only information on the native culture of Kahlo that has ever been found. When the journals were found in 9321, there was no sign of the Jamen or any of the culture that had once lived there.

The culture on Kahlo apparently believed in two gods: the god of Wind and the god of Fire. Though at one time the gods were good friends and worked together to create the Age of Kahlo, there friendship lasted for a short time after the arrival of people. (The people of Kahlo believed that Fire belched out burning embers one day and Wind cooled them off and brought them to the ground where they became people.)

Regardless, one day a woman was born to the people whose beauty was immediately noticed by both the god of Wind and the god of Fire. Both wanted her for their own.
