July 2009
This is personal interpretentions, sketches and thoughts of findings in Moysenland and amongst the scattered notes I have in my belonging.
What I have found so far is that this area is stable, but the surrounding canal is filled with something that acts like quicksand. On the other side there are cliffs with several deep valleys between the peaks.
Moysenland was a harvest Age, and it was inhabited.
The center island had terraces where the inhabitants grew some special crops.

The Moysentrees had their place in the middle, as we still can see today.
A railway connected the island with the mainland.
There were controlled floods that made the lower terrace perfect for a sort of rice.
The Moysenlily gave edible fruits and both Moysenberries and the Moysentrees themselves were used.

It is not known who wrote this Age, but the D'ni had a station here. The inhabitants probably sold or exchanged the crops. I have seen ruins of the town hall, and I think the inhabitants had a vibrant cultural life, as can be seen in the inner room in the cave. It was probably the last big flood that made the D'ni leave.
There are very sparse notes about that event. I have seen floods here; they seem to come after heavy rains and the water rises quite calmly up above the quicksand and flow into the center island through the tunnel. Then, it slowly disappears over a couple of days. I suspect that the last severe flood washed away the soil and most of the vegetation on the surrounding hills, too. That was probably the cause of the damaged railway and tunnel on the center island. We have not seen any signs of the inhabitants.
There were small villages on the mainland with roads and paths between them. The only animals left are fishes, but bigger animals lived here -- some of which the inhabitants got meat and skins from. Probably both domesticated and wild species.
Weather and temperature:
Heavy rains and thunderstorms occur in periods when the temperature drops to about +10 degrees Celsius. It is most often cloudy with a temperature between +15 and +25 degrees Celsius.
Day length:
Same as Earth.
Compass directions:
Standing at the link-in point and looking toward the lanterns, one is facing North.
Flora and fauna:
Moysentrees, small flying insects, tiny grass-like vegetation, a variety of fishes, and birds. All of these need to be further examined and described.
The water in the well is clean and potable. The fish are edible.

Decemeber 2022
We have decided to not go further with the restoration of Moysenland at this point.
On our last visit we found traces of someone being there. The boat was dragged
up on land and there were traces of a campfire on the center island.
If it's the former inhabitants we don't want to disturb in any way.
So we have left Moysenland for now and continued the restoration work with
another age.</translation>

This journal is getting pretty full at this point. Honestly, I think I'm about ready to finish it up and start another. Yet more missing artifacts showed up this morning as well. ...Is that Calum's chess set in here too? Why not send this to him directly? Someone's decided to test the waters, I suppose.
I expect I'll probably barely squeeze November and December into this book- but that'll probably be it. You've done a good job little green journal.</translation>

Nothing much here. SkyisBlu had a wonderful Cooking Session today! Returned TIki's Gnome to him as well.

Exhaustion leads to forgetting to write, it seems. Between another Iwonk Wonky Talk stream about spooky games, Kura'quen coming suddenly to the Cavern asking to join the town hall on Wednesday, and then Thanksgiving over last week. (It was last week wasn't it?) I've completely lost track of things.

Ami decided to make an announcement at a time neither I or Calum would be present. I feel targeted, and I'm not sure whether to be flattered or offended.
In other news, it sounds like Haru'sara stole a multitude of crystals from Rei'schu. Late last night, the Priestesses of Rei'schu discovered that several crystal objects were stolen- among them, a Translation Necklace, several shape shifting story stones, several audio log stones, atleast ONE Soul Memory Stone, and a few crystal equivalents to Blank Linking Books.

Spending two days in Rei'schu was not how I expected to spend the weekend, but I'm glad to have made the trip. Given the nonsense that's been happening... Oh I don't even know what to write here. I don't have much room left in this journal anyways. I think I need to start a new volume soon.

Maurus has been putting feelers out for a lost shipment of clothing items meant as a surprise for the TCT Team. Given my previous efforts for getting the fleeces made for Naybree, I'll do my due diligence and keep my eyes peeled for any miscelaneous packages heading my way that *aren't* stolen items being returned. Hopefully they won't be missing for too long.
<pb>12/18/22
We heard back from Tenny. He's doing alright, and he's got Logan in a hospital to deal with both the fall, and the lingering 'bug' symptoms. Ami's apparently either spending time with them at the hospital, or with her family. It's good to hear she's spending time with them, though. I'd worried she was going to be alone after all of that.

A busy farewell to this year, and to this journal. Not much room left in this book. Calum got me a very pretty journal with "2023" stamped on its cover. I'll be migrating to that one the first chance I get. Don't know quite what I'll do with this one but I think I'll leave it be here for the time being. </translation>

Nothing compares to the feeling of linking in to a new age!
When you just stand there, and with the words of Anna in your
mind, 'What do you see', slowly turn around and look.
I chosed this link book because I knew that this age had been
visited earlier by my friends.
That time I didn't have the opportunity to go along with them, so
it was with great pleasure I finally could open the link book and
put my hand on the page.
TikiBear and ametist accompanied me. We linked in to a big room
and it was quite dark so not much to see this first time. We went back
for flashlights and returned.
An awesome sight greated us in the light. D'ni structures, caves
and open views.

We started working with the machinery last summer and got it working
quite fast. Cleaning and polishing took it's time,
but ametist and TikiBear called upon their fellow explorers.
I forsee this age to be open for the public very soon, just some
final testing awaits.</translation>
